FTLA is currently serving as the landscape architect for Collegetown Terrace, a new 7-building, 610-unit development located on a 17-acre site in Ithaca, New York. The project is being designed to be built in two phases to meet the growing demand for beds and parking by students in the Collegetown area adjacent to Cornell University.

Responding to the client’s goals,
FTLA’s design features:

• • Outdoor spaces intended for student gatherings.
  • Amphitheater for outdoor performances
  • Preservation of the existing view corridors from State Street
  • A new underground parking garage
  • A network of outdoor terraces designed to maximize scenic views
  • Preservation of preexisting historic house on the site
